However, the smaller class operations were paused for the 2022 season, when VR46 entered MotoGP as a Ducati satellite team. For 2024, VR46 welcomed a new title sponsor, Pertamina Enduro, which brought about a radical change in the team's colors, departing from the familiar Mooney-liveried bikes of the previous years.
In a recent Instagram post, the team announced the launch date for their 2026 season, set for January 14th in Rome. The post also hinted at a potential livery change, with the team teasing "the new black and light."

The VR46 team will continue with the same riders in 2026, fielding Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli. Di Giannantonio, who rode the GP25 last season, achieved an impressive four podiums and finished sixth in the standings.
